GEMROCs history[edit | edit source]

  • GEMROC 10 was replaced on 18.08.2019 due to the missing reset signals for 2 FEBs: after this replacement the issue was solved.

FEBs history[edit | edit source]

FEBs replacements during 2019 May's integration week:

  • GEMROC 4, TIGER 2 and 3: HW_FEB = 8 --> HW_FEB = 17
  • GEMROC 4, TIGER 4 and 5: HW_FEB = 7 --> HW_FEB = 18
  • GEMROC 6, TIGER 4 and 5: HW_FEB = 39 --> HW_FEB = 5
  • GEMROC 7, TIGER 4 and 5: HW_FEB = 23 --> HW_FEB = 52
  • GEMROC 9, TIGER 6 and 7: HW_FEB = 14 --> HW_FEB = 7

FEBs left on oL1 for the Experimental Hall Test in September 2019:

FEBs replacements during 2019 September (10.09.2019):

  • GEMROC 6, TIGER 4 and 5 (FEB_label 26): HW_FEB = 5 (49*) --> HW_FEB = 50 (old FEB had missing calibration due to wrong HW label, chip 1, chip 2)
  • GEMROC 8, TIGER 6 and 7 (FEB_label 35): HW_FEB = 29 --> HW_FEB = 56 (missing TP on chip 1)
  • GEMROC 9, TIGER 2 and 3 (FEB_label 37): HW_FEB = 11 --> HW_FEB = 57 (several noisy and dead channels on chip 1 and chip 2)
* actually on the chips side it was not HW_FEB = 5, but HW_FEB = 49 --> this explains the missing/wrong calibration

FEBs replaced on L2 in November 2019:

  • GEMROC 5, TIGER 6 and 7 (FEB_label 23): HW_FEB = 34 --> 53
  • GEMROC 9, TIGER 2 and 3 (FEB_label 37): HW_FEB = 57 --> 49

Known issues[edit | edit source]

8b10b errors on GEMROC 7 TIGER 0-1

Missing calibration files for:

  • QDC: FEB_label = 2 ( HW_FEB_id = L1FEB6 )

Layer 2[edit | edit source]

For Layer 2 channels 61, 62 and 63 are not connected to any strip, hence they should be disabled and not be considered.
