The week will be held in IHEP lab and clean room from Jun 17 to Jun 22.

The goal is to increase the status of the setup, in preparation for the arrival of the new L1.

Main ideas:

  • Check mapping of L1 and L2: hardware and software. Also by means of radioactive source
  • Study of the reproducibility of the results: different short data taking during the day
  • Study of the effect of the current variation on the noise and charge performance.
  • Continue documentation preparation
  • Check of the new performance of fast clock distribution hardware
  • Firmware fix for present bugs: time packet information, spurious hit
  • Make everybody aware of the analysis process and clarify the variables meaning
  • Study the signal synchronization in the system
  • Check the TM efficiency by generating a fixed amount of test pulses and reading them back.
  • Check the tracking by generating "MC" clusters with test pulses
  • Measure the transmission efficiency using a known number of TP injected
  • Check the packet construction -> this is affected by wrong UDP packet formation. sometimes data are sent two UDP packets away.

Verify strange time bump:

  • Acquire without TP
  • Acquire with low gain on GEM

Side ideas:

  • Test the transmission efficiency and timing of the TP injecting the TP only or multiple TP (such as rnu 58->63)
  • Perform a cosmic run each night to test the consistency of the modification performed day by day
  • Understand the badness of the trigger or the low detector efficiency
